Be Careful

In this world with so many temptations and dangers, it just seemed right to focus on being careful and wise rather than impulsive and careless, which I often am.

I remind myself constantly now to pause, pray, and armor up before leaping into the battle of any moment.

But oh how hard that is with how impetuous I am!

I’m so thankful that the Lord lets us reach out to Him for guidance and wisdom.

“Be Careful“

The world is full of tempts and dares,
Distracting us from He who cares,
It’s daring us to step outside,
And leave behind the peace inside.

Like fools we step into the world,
His armor on us, not unfurled,
So confident in our own selves,
Forgetting where our true strength dwells.

We must be careful how we live,
We only have one life to give,
Not live like fools which many may,
 But trust in Him who made this day.

Our God of love goes with us now,
With prayer and praise to Him we bow,
We wear His armor as we go,
And shine His light His love to show.
