God Is Speaking

The Lord is communicating with us in so many ways…through His Spirit inside of us, through His Word and how it talks to us, through those He puts in our path in just that right moment for that needed word of support or encouragement, through His creation which sings out in praise…so many ways.

He’s definitely speaking, but He’s waiting on us to tune in to Him, listen, and respond.

“God Is Speaking“

I listen intensely to all that’s around,
To hear God speaking to me,
He speaks through creation to affirm His Word,
I’m wiser from all that I see.

His words cut through all the temptations of life,
Giving strength for me to hold on,
To his hand as He pulls me much closer to Him,
He’s promised I’m never alone.

He knows all the wants and desires I have,
Those righteous and those that are not,
And His Spirit then works to wrap each in His Word,
And divinely transform all my thoughts.

I now know to pause, pray, and praise in each moment,
For He is here yearning for me,
To trust Him with all of my heart and my soul,
And follow wherever He leads.
