There are many moments in life when what we see or experience doesn’t seem to match what we believe…in those times, we can slip into doubt, confusion, or fear.

But faith steadies us in that uncertainty.

Faith doesn’t eliminate hardship, and it doesn’t mean everything will make sense.

But faith does give us that deep assurance that strengthens us in those challenging times.

We feel Your presence everywhere,
With all You’ve done we know You care,
You sometimes speak through what we see,
Reminding us You’re almighty.

When things go wrong, though, we still doubt,
We hit our knees and then cry out,
We wonder why it’s happening,
Our confidence starts crumbling.

But You remind us that You’re here,
Though we don’t see, we need not fear,
It’s through our hearts we find Your light,
We live by faith and not by sight.

With that reminder we find peace,
We trust Your presence, strivings cease,
We anchor on Your promises,
We then don’t doubt who our God is.
