Curiosity

In our journey to know God more, an insatiable curiosity to learn and grow can simplify and deepen our faith as God reveals more and more of His mystery to us.

I am so thankful for the curiosity I have now (hasn’t always been this way!) to dig into elements of faith, to understand it in ways that teachings of the past did not provide, and to then apply what I learn both in these poems and in my walk with the Lord.

And I think it’s natural to all of us to look forward with excitement to that moment when we enter His presence for eternity and all is made known!

“Curiosity“

I’m seeking, listening, learning and growing,
Always in awe with things He is showing,
Gaining in confidence, each passing day,
Curious still, “Lord, teach me”, I pray.

In raising my prayers, His light always shines,
My curious heart is finding His signs,
With all that I see, I still long to know,
Those mysteries of Him, He’s yet to bestow.
