Here are just some of the things we need wisdom for – right focus; right attitude; right learning; right surroundings; right relationships; right choices; right steps.

So thankful for the roadmap to wisdom that the Lord has given us in scripture!

And grateful for the Lord’s patience as I learn and grow!

“Wisdom & Discernment”

In first light of the morning,
I pause with thanks and praise,
I reach out for Your guidance,
Needing wisdom for my days.

You point me to Your scripture,
With words so tried and true,
You say for me to “Know them,
Let wisdom dwell in you.”

Your words become my compass,
They point me to Your will,
I cherish the discernment,
It helps my heart be still.

I’m still a work in progress,
As the sun departs this place,
But You have been so patient,
I’m thankful for Your grace.
