Draw Me Close to You, Lord

In the busyness of each day, I need those divine reminders to call on Him, to bring Him into each moment, and to trust Him for whatever this next step might be. Awe and gratitude seem to be those things that let me focus properly on His presence and His promises. It’s in those moments of thankfulness and wonder that I feel the Lord drawing me in to Him. But it starts with me seeking Him.

I’m thankful to You, Lord…
…for each inspiration
…for awe in creation
…and for my salvation.

I’m trusting in You, Lord…
…in moments of weakness
…in times that are bleakest
…when change is the greatest.

I’m praising You now, Lord…
…for every blessing
…for all You’re addressing
…in all of my stressing.

I remember each promise, Lord…
…to be with me always
…to guide me through my days
…to find me when I stray.

Draw me close to You, Lord.
