Each By Name

I spend a lot of time looking at the heavens – waiting for the first planets and stars to come out at night – wondering what God’s purpose and plan was for all that’s in the heavens and then for me as well – fully realizing that He did this by design, and He knows all by name:

“Each By Name”

I look and see the stars above,
Reminders of our Father’s love,
We’re part of His divine design,
Wherever we look, His light does shine.

He knows each one of us by name,
It’s to His glory we proclaim,
Our awe for His amazing grace,
As He put all of this in place.

It’s God who spun the earth in motion,
Then with His love proved His devotion,
As He created all of man,
It’s in His image we now stand.

With creation now surrounding me,
A master plan there has to be,
No way could this all be by chance,
It’s a gift from God, all this expanse.

I also wonder why God created man knowing we would be tempted and fall away, knowing that we would disappoint Him continuously, and knowing that many would never choose to humbly submit and obey.

And yet…He made us anyway.

So thankful for a God who loves us unconditionally, knows us by name, and forgives us for the many times we fall short.

To Him be the glory.
