He Delivers Me

Storms are inevitable in life…both literally and figuratively…and the storms that hit us personally and professionally give us an opportunity to grow our faith, to trust even more, to depend even more, and to ultimately release even more.

Finding peace in the midst of our storms is a gift we’re given in faith!

“He Delivers Me”

Off in the distance, the clouds are raging,
The tempest is growing, storms are staging,
In all ways I look, it’s trouble I see,
I’m anchoring down, for He’s holding me.

His presence is light, in deepest darkness,
Bringing me peace and much needed calmness,
I pause, pray, and praise, it’s Him I do need,
I hear His clear voice, He’s right here with me.

He reminds me again, to trust in His grace,
And hearing those words, I feel His embrace,
Which takes me right back to His guarantee,
Don’t fear what’s ahead, He will not fail me.

I’m nestled so tightly in His loving arms,
The trials and troubles can do me no harm,
His promises give me hope that is key,
For in all life’s struggles, He delivers me.
