Love Endures

There’s an abundance of hate in this world, making it hard sometimes to love through the hate.

Yet that’s what we’re asked to do.

With faith, we can be confident that love endures and is victorious.

And in God’s Word, we have the perfect example in Jesus of love conquering hate.

May love endure for us all.

“Love Endures“

Hate is rampant in our world today,
It targets hearts and brings great dismay.
We start to rage when things are unjust,
It’s hard to love when hate strains our trust.

Even as evil and venom are hurled,
We’re called to be lights in this dark world,
Asked to “do good to those who hate you,”
To turn our cheek, it’s so hard to do.

God’s Word is our guide to help us shine bright,
“Whom shall I fear, the Lord is my light”.
His words embolden, resilience they bring,
“Love never gives up and endures all things”.

It’s abundantly clear that love is the key,
To divinely destroy the hate that will be.
Let’s lead with love as He asked us to do,
“Go love each other as I have loved you.”
