His Plans for Me

One of the biggest challenges for me is trusting that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord. But one thing I’ve found in my journey in faith is that peace can be found when we truly believe in God’s faithfulness, that He has a plan for each of us, and that His love endures forever.

“His Plans for Me“

He knew me from the start of time,
And formed me in His image,
He asked me to just trust in Him,
Have faith in Him for passage.

I started out with faith in me,
And blindly went my way,
Believing I could win in life,
And rarely would I pray.

But all things changed when I felt Him,
A time of my great need,
He reached right out and grabbed my hand,
In answer to my plea.

I now don’t fear as I step forth,
He strengthens and helps me,
In all my ways I lean on Him,
His plans have set me free.

I know all things will work for good,
For those who love the Lord,
He promised such to each of us,
It’s stated in His word.

My hope is built on nothing less
Than trusting His plan for me,
He’s brought me through my pain and doubt,
And opened my eyes to see.
