Seasons Change

One of the things we can be certain about in life is that seasons will change…and that can be exciting or challenging, sometimes both.

Thinking of our changing seasons inspired this:

“Seasons Change”

When temps cool down and fall sets in,
The winds rise up, the leaves descend,
The fog arrives, it seems so strange,
But it’s just part of seasons change.

Life’s like that when nights don’t cease,
We seek His warmth to give us peace,
It’s through His grace we find our rest,
With faith in Him we face each test.

Through all life’s seasons, joy or pain,
His mercy falls like gentle rain,
He covers us with His great love,
Smiles down on us from up above.

He asks for us to seek His will,
Release to Him and trust Him still,
Our lives will always see such change,
God’s plan for us He will arrange.

In this season of my life, I look back on the change that has occurred over the years, and I see so clearly how God was with me then – in each season – which gives me even more confidence for the next season.
