Always Here
This week I focused on God’s presence…He’s always here…fully knowing, fully working, fully loving.
We all need that reminder from time to time…I certainly do.
Regardless of our situation…He is with us, He is for us, He will not fail us, He is our strength.
With faith, we have that assurance:
“Always Here”
You’re with me everywhere I go,
On land or sea, I’ll always know,
That You will guide me, hold me fast,
Your love for me will always last.
When storms arise, I’ll find Your peace,
All my worries to You release,
You’ll shine Your light so I can see,
And still go forth confidently.
I’ll trust You with my path and plan,
Clinging tight to Your right hand,
I’ll count on You for my safety,
For You are my security.
So thankful that You’re always here,
Protecting me, no need to fear,
I have Your strength, it’s helping me,
To keep on going more boldly.
In each moment the Lord is with us.
In the good and in the not-so-good, in the easy and in the challenge, in the confidence and in the doubts…the Lord is always here, wanting us to reach out to Him for His support and His guidance, and waiting for us to release to Him and receive His assurance and peace.
There’s something both uncomfortable and comfortable in that…uncomfortable in that He knows each time we fail Him and His Spirit points us back to Him…but comfortable in that we can count on Him when we need Him most, regardless of our circumstance.
The uncomfortable leads to redemption…the comfortable leads to peace.
So thankful for both!
Stan
