Cleansed

God wants us to approach Him with humility, sincerity, and confidence in faith.

I get tripped up on that humble part, that sincere part, and that confidence part.

But His Spirit helps me through that!

What a privilege it is to enter the Lord’s presence, cleansed by His grace, and strengthened by His power.

“Cleansed“

I’m boldly at the throne of grace,
I’m near to God, I raise my praise,
And now I have true fellowship,
A child of God, my membership.

It’s in God’s love my soul finds rest,
My life in Him forever blessed,
His sacrifice, now I’m redeemed,
My debt’s been paid, sin’s stain is cleaned.

I step forth now, He is my guide,
With His great strength I’m fortified,
With contrite heart I hold His hand,
Because of Him I firmly stand.

All fears I have are now released,
Each moment wrapped now in His peace,
I’m cleansed by Him and in His care,
In thanks to Him, His love I share.
