Intimacy with the Lord

So thankful we have a God who makes us aware of His presence and welcomes us into an intimate relationship with Him.

And I’m also thankful that we have a Lord who walked in our shoes and fully understands all we go through, and as we seek to know Him more, He reveals to us those things He wants us to understand even more.

I see you on the mountain peaks,
And in the valleys below,
You show You’re there whenever I seek,
If I, “Be still and know”.

When still, it’s then Your voice I hear,
It’s gently calling me,
To trust that you are always near,
You promised to always be.

In Your embrace I am made new,
Your grace is what I need,
I feel Your love so pure, so true,
And now I have been freed.

With every breath I thank You for
Your divine intimacy,
It lets me know You even more,
Till all is made known to me.
